We are a community-owned development trust. This means that by becoming a member your annual £10 membership will support us in our mission to promote and sustain Headingley as a vibrant and inclusive place to live, work and play.
Everyone is welcome to join us, whether they live in Headingley or not. All members are expected to support the aims of Headingley Development Trust, which are laid out in our constitution. Whilst we generate funds from some of our activities, membership fees are a valuable source of income, enabling us to ethically invest more in Headingley, providing fantastic social value for residents and visitors alike. Despite this, our annual membership fee is kept deliberately low to make sure that no one is prevented from joining by hardship.
Some members choose to donate larger amounts to us, and for that we are always grateful. However, this does not entitle them to any more say in the business of the Trust, which is a one-member-one vote organisation.
